Day 01: Airport – Negombo
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our English Speaking Chauffeur Guide who will brief you and escort you to your hotel in Negombo for your first night stay, where you can relax and acclimatise after your long flight!
Day 02: Negombo – Anuradhapura
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to the ancient City of Anuradapura for two nights stay! On route take a safari Jeep ride through the Wilpattu national park ,and view leopard in their natural environment
Day 03: Anuradhapura
In the morning enjoy the magnificent history of the City of Anuradhapura!Visit the Oldest recorded tree, The Sri Maha Bhodhi, a sapling of the Bhodi tree The Gautama Bhudda attained enlightenment!
Day 04: Anuradapura – Trincomalee
After breakfast, proceed to Trincomalee for 3 days of relaxation by the beach and soak in the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean! Enjoy a tropical night by the beach!
Day 05: Trincomalee
Free for your leisure by the beach, Scuba Diving or indulging in the many water sports available or just sightseeing in the town and its environs! Take a trip to the Fort Fredrick which is still functional and has a magnificent view of the surrounding ocean and town! Or tour the Trincomalee harbour and its environs. It is the third largest natural harbour in the world and has a long history of conquest!
Day 06 : Trincomalee
Take an excursion to Pigeon Island for half day snorkelling tour! Spend the rest of the day at your leisure!
Day 07: Trincomalee – Sigiriya
In the morning a tour to view the Whales and dolphins is optional, but highly recommended. Thereafter drive to Sigiriya for one night stay, and enjoy an elephant back safari. A visit to the Minneriya National park is optional.
Day 08: Sigiriya – Kandy
Climb Sigiriya Fortress Rock in the morning and afterward travel to Kandy for two nights stay. Make a visit to the spice and herbal gardens and indulge in the surrounding sights. Enjoy your night stay in Kandy
Day 09: Kandy
Breakfast at the hotel and visit Peradeniya Botanical garden. Evening visit the Dalada Maligawa (temple of the tooth) and witness a traditional Kandyan dance performance, accompanied with traditional drumming, are held at the temple daily at dawn, midday, and in the evening.
Day 10: Kandy – Colombo
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Colombo for last night stay, En-route visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Enjoy shopping tour in Colombo
Day 11: Colombo- Airport
Leave for the Airport and a final Ayubowan! Farewell and a safe journey home with memories of a time well spent!
