Day 01: Airport – Negombo
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our English Speaking Chauffeur Guide, who will brief you and escort you to your hotel in Negombo for an overnight stay. Where you can check in, relax and acclimatise and soak in the tropical atmosphere after your flight.
Day 02: Negombo- Pinnawala – Kandy
After breakfasts proceed to Hill country capital Kandy, en- route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage .The orphanage is home to almost 70 rescued Elephants of different ages, who have been abandoned, or injured, you will have the opportunity to watch this herd as they bathe and play in the river nearby. Check in your hotel and relax in the evening ,and enjoy a luxurious overnight stay in the cool clime of Kandy.
Day 03: Kandy
After breakfast explore the city of Kandy and its discover its historic past .Visit a Spice & Herbal garden, a Wood carving centre and Gem museum . In the evening visit the Temple of Tooth and witness the awesome cultural display of Kandyan drumming and dancing! These are held thrice a day, morning midday and in the evening.
Day 04 : Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Nuwara Eliya and enjoy the magnificent scenic drive towards Nuwara Eliya, enjoy sight amazing vistas of slopes of tea covered hill sides and mountains and valley. Visit the Ramboda waterfalls, Tea Plantation and Tea factory, Explore the Tea estate and tea factory where you will gain insight into the manufacturing process as well as an opportunity to taste the different grades of hill country tea. Check in your hotel and enjoy an evening’s relaxation and a luxurious overnight stay at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 05 : Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast a visit to the Horton Plains national park is optional, but recommended. Thereafter spend the rest of your day exploring Nuwara Eliya town and experience its colonial charm or take a cycle tour of the environs, recommended for cycling enthusiasts. Enjoy a further night’s stay at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya. A quiet round of Golf is optional for the enthusiast!
Day 06: Nuwara Eliya – Ella
After breakfast, take a scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella and enjoy a trip into our past colonial heritage. At Ella station you will be picked up by your guide and will be escorted back to your Hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 07: Ella
During your stay in Ella, take a trek to the Ella Rock .Visit the beautiful Ravana Ella waterfalls and explore the Cave, and discover a part of our pre-historic past.
Day 08: Colombo
After breakfast a leisure drive down to Colombo, enjoying the scenic beauty of our Hill country and a last night’s stay. Enjoy Colombo at night, A view of the City at night is worth it, for the charm and romance of our Major Sea port city!
Day 09: Departure
Do your Colombo city tour in the morning and some last minute shopping. We drop you at the Airport for your departure flight and a final farewell. Ayubowan!
